Wiring compatability between 2004 and 2006 LQ4 trucks? Title almost says it.
I've got a 6.0L(LQ4) out of a 2004 Silverado 2500HD. It is currently running with NV4500 behind it using a stock PCM and lightly adjusted wiring harness.
I'm looking at a wiring harness from a 2006 in prep of converting to a 4l80e.
I will be reusing PCM for 2004 unless someone can convince me to get a 2006.
Aside from TAC differences, is there anything else I should be worried about? My largest concern is the transmission wiring.
