Default Paging ScottWS6 (fueling q)

Scott,

When you turn the key to power on in your car, what do you have your base fuel pressure set to?

What does it do when you crank the car, your fuel pressure stays constant right?

Please let me know.

My base is around there, but the fuel pressure should stay at that psi when it's cranking over correct? (I know the answer is yes but I need to hear it from someone else LOL).

I dont know for sure, But i know mine does. I run the Bosch pump from speed.
when i turn the key it hits base, then falls as soon as i crank it is sits right where it belongs.
Not sure if this helps.

So your psi is 58-60 power on, and then cranking it's 58-60 right?

PSI should drop slowly as it's cranking if it's hooked up correctly (correctly meaning, like factory).

Yah that's what I was thinking, but maybe the gauge is off if the battery is low.

Just waiting on the coil connectors from FAST and then I'll wire in the eDIST later this week.

How much fuel pressure are you running, John?

You should be running 43-45 base.. More than that isn't necessary, and will ultimately limit your fuel pump capacity.. (Low Z injectors and weldon pump.)

If you're talking to me (Brady), I used to run 83# injectors and a Weldon 2025 (twin turbo LT1 ~900HP) Now it's 160# injectors and two Weldon 2025's (significantly more power )
