Default External fuel pressure regulator

I am fixing to upgrade my fuel system with a racetronix fuel pump kit and aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. problem is i know the factory fuel pressure regulator is on the fuel sending unit assembly, what do i need to do in order to get rid of the factory fuel pressure regulator and run the external?

i know with the external regulator that i will need to run a return line all the way back to the tank

The fuel pressure regulator is held in place with a spring clip that is easily removed.

That helps, but i already stated that i know where the FPR is. I was hoping for a solid answer.

On this style fuel pump there is a return line.
Mount the Fuel Pressure Regulator on the inner fender panel. Connect the lines.

The fitting on the left is the return line.
The center line is the evap line
The right fitting is the pump pressure line.
