i hear the truck coils are a little hotter, i still have not had any problems with stock coils.

mototron also sells factory replacement coils that are hotter than the truck ones.

you mean hotter = more spark right?

why would the trucks come with a higher output coil than the Corvettes and F-bodies?

Motortron? web page/link please? How much "hotter" are their coils?

dunno but they do

you need the square mitishubishi type not the round delco

you can find out more info if you do a search about them in the FI section.

The truck Melco ones are supposed to be hotter.

I have a set in backup for my car but so far I have had no ignition problems. You would need a set of truck wires and the coil harnesses to make this swap.

are aftermarket coils a direct swap for the LS1 "car" coils?
