Anybody run E100?
I have an ethanol plant 35 miles from my house. I can buy it straight from those guys. There is a pump but it is usually always e70 they Sadie Should I just run e100? Or do I need to ad some fuel to it.

i'v tested the e85 out of the various pumps near my house and in Denver many times. It's always so close to e85 that I don't have to mess with it. But I don't buy it in the winter, only April to Sept. You should try testing that pump a few times and see what you get.
As for the e100, that would run great! The only reason fuel is added at the pump is so people don't drink it.

One of the problems with pump e85 is that they mix it with the cheapest fuel they can use - dregs from the bottom of the refinery tank. And that can cause problems. With a big turbo and lots of boost, I'd mix it with Sunoco 110 to prevent those problems.

I'm planning to mix it with 91. In my area that's about all that is available.

I'm curious, did you just call different ethanol plants until you found one that would sell to you? I'm wanting to do the same thing your doing. I'm about 5 hours northeast of you up in Nebraska so there's plenty of ethanol plants.
