Default questioning FAST quality on their products

Yesterday I took my pile to milan for the first time since the build making my second pass and the car shuts off midway down the track I coast it to the end get out and I smell fuel like crazy left a trail of fuel everywhere pop the hood and the fast braided line that came with kit I bought with the crossover tube and fast fuel gauge came off so I popped it back ob car fired right up go to make another pass do my burnout it pops off and pukes fuel everywhere I clip it back on turn the key and it popped off again ... I took the green clip out of the inside of the coupler and put it on the fuel line and then tried to get the braided fuel line to clip on it stayed on fpr the ride home thank god but I.kno its not right at all heres a pic ...have u guys experienced this before? Kind of a big deal could have caught fire..do u guys have anything that u have done to correct this issue?

Yeah I don't trust those plastic push lock fittings, that's why I installed the aluminum quick connect style fitting on mine similar to this one in the attached picture

According to the Russell website the two common adapters needed are 644120 and 644130 (Blue) or 644123 and 644133 (Black). 3/8" quick connect to -6an & -8an respectively.

What size is your braided line? Should be 3/8 to whatever your braided line size is.
