I have an 86 camaro , stock sending unit with in tank 255, not on the car yet i have 20ft 6an fuel line, a corvette filter/regulator and stock ls3 incectors... will this feed a 408 11.5-1 comp stock ls3 heads& intake good sized cam will be shifted around 6600..and as for the injector ? Is there really 2 diffrent ls3 injectors? If so what are the part numbers? I belive mine say 346 on them, thanks... adam. Not to late to go up to 8an feed.. but if the 6 is enoughf then ill spend my money elseware

 

I'm curious about the fuel pump but the word I got is the racetronix 255 will support 600whp with the hotwire kit. I hope so, I just ordered one.

I read somewhere theres 3 different LS3 injector flow rates. I know theres 2 different GM factory LS3 style injectors, part#12576341 is the lower at 42 lbs @ 58 PS1 & apparently this is the same injector used in the LS7 but this link says 47 lb hr. I doubt that is accurate info. Everything else I've found on regular non boosted stock LS3 injectors is 42 lb hr @ 58 psi.

The other is 12598646, is either 50 or 52 lb hr @ 58 psi & is the ones I just bought. Those are LS9 injectors, possibly used on LSA engines as well like in the ZL1 & CTS-V. Youll see all different variations of these lil LS3 style Bosch injectors for sale at much higher flow rates, these have been reworked to flow more by fuel injector vendors.

 

Ok, i herd there was a 39lb version and a 42... and i was told if i have the 39s it wouldnt be enough not sure the part number ill have to check, its a dealer take off intake

 

Anybody k ow if there is a gm version less than 42?
