My ls1 SS camaro will randomly start idling at around 1400 rpms as opposed to the usual 800 or so. When this happens the ASR light also comes on and stays on (though traction control is still functioning) I am not sure what it is or where to start checking. Could it be the idle air control motor and if so why would the ASR light come on?
