Am I losing HP by running too rich? Or is it better to run lean?

Don't have a NA dyno A/F reading, but at WOT on a 180shot I am getting 10:1 A/F. Is this too rich or should i lean it out. How much HP gain would I see from putting smaller NXL fuel jets in?

You are way low on power. I gained nearly 100 rwhp running At 11:3, rising to 11:7 at 6600 RPMs versus being at less than 10:1 thru most of the run.

Big difference.

thanks for the reply. NA I dynoed 415rwhp, but on the 180 shot I only gained 80hp. NX said they sent me the wrong jets, and I just received the correct jets today. At 10:1 that is rich, but I do not want to go too lean and pop my motor. But they "think" this is where the 100rwhp went.
what do you think?

Keep in mind some dyno AFR sensors only go down to 10:1. This really is too rich. A good "safe" AFR for nitrous is ~11.5:1-12:1 (my preference is the lower number).

Yes... if you are below 10:1 A/F on the dyno, you could be that far off on power, more or less.
