Changing injector preassure to half. Anyone done it?

Changing injector preassure to half. Anyone done it? I have been a reading and I hear lower injector pressure = better MPG. So, with that theory in my head, I was looking for anyone that has gone to a 3xlb injector and dropped the pressure regulator down to 4xlbs or lower on a stock build?

I thought that also, but, while fumbling for other info I kept running past "lower pressures with the given same volume is better" and was like.........whaaaaaa??? I need to find the articles just to double check and maybe share.
