Noisey injectors
Noisey injectors Not sure why, but after pulling my motor and putting it back in, my injectors are loud as hell. I did remove the intake and such to make room to pull.
It gets worse as you climb in rpm's, and settles back down to almost "normal" noise, when at idle. There seems to be no loss of power at all. I checked to make sure the connectors are not touching anything. I used a stethoscope, I hear it loudest on the fuel rail/injector area. The intake has some residual noise, valve covers sound as they should. I checked to make sure the seals are seated as they should as well.
It almost sounds like a spark knock, but a lot lighter in pitch. It is in time with the injectors as well.
Any logical ideas?
