I have just fitted twin Walbro 450lph pumps and upgraded to an Aeromotive FPR with -8an feed and drains as well as -8an Holley fuel rails so i need to set my fuel pressure again.

I don't want both the pumps running at the same time so will be staging the second one.

How do i set the fuel pressure? Do i have them both run at idle and set it then? Or do i just set it at idle with one pump running?

The FPR will be hooked up to a vaccum line to increase with boost.

If you're only going to have the one pump running at idle, I don't see any reason to set the fuel pressure any other way that with one pump running at idle.
