Default To much fuel pressure....

Back story...02 TA..6.0 lq4..bought car a year ago...runs great and has had a few fuel system upgrades done by previous owner...upgraded purple/ blueish colored fuel pump told it was 320-340 l/hr pump...stock regulator...nice billet fuel filter in place of stocker....stock hard lines under car....braided line going from hard line by shock tower over to holley efi rails..fast 102 intake...deka 60lb injectors..fuel pressure gauge on rail so fp is easy to read..car is on E85 and tuned for it..makes about 510 fwhp on mustang dyno........last week fuel pressure is at 70-75 ish...runs ok but kinda funky...figured in tank regulator is dying a slow death....got the kit from ws6store to put the corvette filter/regulator in...installed and same thing....thinking about a true seperate fpr instead of the corvette one...whatcha think? Even put a new gauge to make sure.

Did you run the corvette reg filter to the same line as stock without removing the stock FPR? A new regulator can only control the pressure higher when used with another in line. It can never go lower.

In tank regulator was removed/bypassed.....Only thing car has now is sock, fuel pump, corvette filter/regulator....im thinking/hoping the pump is to much for the corvette filter/regulator.

I've only ran a 255lph on the filter/reg, so I'm not sure on that one. I have 450lph that was on the stock reg at first and it gave me 68psi at idle.
