Default How to drop the gas tank..

I'm going to be installing a Walbro 340. Are there any instructions on how to go about dropping the gas tank.

I have true duals dumped at the axle so dropping the tank should be alot easier.

Thanks for any help or links.

Save yourself the trouble and cut the access panel. Makes the install a 30 minute job instead of a all day job.

Know several people who have done that and recommend doing it! I personally didn't because the rear end was being swapped at the same time.

Well..

I guess that I'll just cut the hole in the floorboard since I'll be installing sound dampener pretty soon.

I just thought that since I have access to a lift, dropping the tank wouldn't be that hard.

Thanks

hmmm very interesting, like the last guy posted, anyone know where the fuel pump and lines are routed on the 99 and up cars in accordance with the 98's.

i have a true dual exhaust so removeing the gas tank only takes 10 minutes at the most. cutting an access panel was not an option for me. i have done it to other peoples cars in the past, but i am not cutting up my baby.
