Default Injector upgrade question

Ok, so my 98 with stock 28.x # injectors, ls6 top end, full bolt ons n tune conservative tune straight 12.4-12.6 afr throughout entire wot to 6800 rpms. Now, looking at the ford yellows that are 30#... Pretty much will just run richer than normal amd use wee bit more gas while idle... Is this pretty much correct?
thx in advance

Dont do that. Anytime you swap injectors you need the info in the tune recalibrated for the new injectors.

The reason they're saying it's a bad idea is that the number you're looking at is just one of several numbers that characterizes an injector. There are actually 4 critical tables in an 0411 ecm that represent an injector's behavior, including the rate of fuel addition when the injector is in transition from closed to open... which is NOT the same as steady state open.

Basically, though your peak flow may be similar, your transition characteristics could be very different, which will throw off your idle and low load performance.
