Default LSX 454 catch can

LSX 454. Running Holley sniper sheetmetal intake and 102 mm throttle body. Right now I have a hose with an in-line PCV valve from the passenger valve cover to the Holley throttle body. The driver side has no pvc just hose to the hyrdo boost and the valley test just has a plug on it. Question is if I don’t want oil in my intake should I route the passenger side valve cover and valley tray to a catch can then from the catch can to the throttle body. Any thoughts or help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

I need to get a vented catch can for mine also.

You either do a PCV which leads to the intake with or without a catch can or you don't and vent from the catch can. If you have a MAF sensor and vent to the intake without metering that air through the MAF it will mess the computer up, like a vacuum leak. Speed density setups don't care where the air comes from so you can have a vent on one valve cover and vent to the intake with the other one.

No MAF sensor. So basically keep the pvc inline off the passenger valve cover and route it to the catch can. Also can route the valley tray to catch can as well? Then from the can to the throttle body? Does this sound right??

Yes, and you don't have to worry about metered air so you're good to go as you like.

Heres mine and it seems to work well. -10 AN off each valve cover, going into the can on the fender, vents to atmosphere, every other opening is plugged. Seems to work great so far. The masking tape in between the center coil packs is where it hooks into the valve cover.
