What are you wanting to do with this motor? Throttle body injection is like paying more for a carb. MPFI cost very little more for a much better setup. Holley system with V4 firmware is the best bang for the buck in the stand alone market right now. What do you want to know?

The throttle body was like 600 or 650 and they had plans on larger injectors to increase that, but because it's only 4 injectors they have to be huge. Just do multi port injection even if you use the carb style intake. You will get better fuel distribution, have no power limits since the Dominator can run 3 sets of 8 injectors, and it will drive better with quicker fuel when you stab the gas. Then Holley has great nitrous controls and once you get familiar it you'll never run a wet system again.

trying to follow this but obviously im new to efi etc.....

Ive got a similar set up in a 67 Chevelle. 06 GM LQ4 with 242 heads
and a Texas Speed cam 236/242 .600/.600 110+2 LSA.

Trying to decide on carb type efi with self learn ecu or go with the fabricated intake type....Currently was looking at Holley Sniper efi (carb style) and FI Techs Mean Street 800 as well....

Okay, if your new then the first thing you should know is that self tuning doesn't mean you can always answer the few questions on the hand held and have a perfect running motor every time. So, just know that now. Your best bet is to find a friend that knows enough about a system that they can help you and go with what they know. This way they can help you get the best experience from whatever system you spend money on. You will also need to figure out what you are doing as it sounds like if you want to spray dry nitrous with that motor some of these systems will limit what you can do (remember only 4 injectors in most 4 barrel digital carbs).

The way I see it you are spending most of the money to get an EFI system you might as well get something you can learn and will grow with you while getting all of the advantages. You can still do a throttle body with 8 port injectors. The smaller plenum will make it easier to get a stable idle. They can still sell you the self learn type kit with small screen to start out and later you can connect a laptop to the HP and have full system. The 8 injectors means you can start with this motor, then add nitrous, then build a new stroker, and then upgrade the nitrous up to 1000HP and never by a new part for the EFI if you start with 66lb injectors. You might not want that much, so maybe some 42lb or 48lb for a 408 with a 200 shot later.
