Default 99 c5 fuel filter/regulator on 1998 camaro

I recently bought the kit from ws6store for the c5 fuel filter/regulator install. I got underneath the car and started to mock it up to see where i will need to cut the hard lines and I cannot figure out how to get the new filter even come close to fitting. Obvious i know the hard lines will need to be trimmed but just based on the t that was removed i dont see any physical space to mount the filter with all the adapters let along getting into the angles of the hard lines. I was wanting to see if anyone has done the conversion if they can post up some pics of how the fuel filter is mocked up. I have some pics of what i am talking about. thanks!

I think you put the factory T back on it and it will make more since. I think you cut the end off of that and use the comression to -6an fitting to get your outlet from the filter.

I was able to get the system in. I have some pics of what i did. I did not use the supplied hardline and i was able to reuse the stock hardline elbow. seems to be all good. the mounting was a little complex but it is tucked nice in board on the rail. The also installed a ractronix fuel pump and hotwire kit and i am showing 70 psi at the rail with a rail mounted fuel gauge.

I hope the pics help!

Im about to do this on my car. The instructions that come with it are a bit rough. I appreciate your pictures. Ill see if I can add some to it when I start my install.

This regulator upgrade is a nice piece. Just make sure to take out stock in-tank regulator. Your upgraded fuel pump will thank you. Don't be surprised if upon start-up you hear a "whushing" noise due to increased fuel flow. It's apparent, especially if you have an upgraded fuel pump. Once you start moving, your exhaust and other noises will drown it out.
