How to connect nylon tubing to Corvette filter/regulator outlet?
Hello,
In another thread there was discussion of using Dorman nylon fittings and tubing to plumb the fuel and evap. system. I'm planning on doing just that on my '82 S-10 truck / L33 swap. I was considering PTFE hose/AN fittings but I think the nylon tubing/fittings will look more in place on a mostly stock looking engine, and it will definitely be cheaper! My setup has the returnless system, so I'll be using the Corvette fuel filter/regulator.
That filter has a female connection on its outlet to go to the fuel rail.
I can't find a fitting in the Dorman catalog that looks like what I think that fitting should look like, but I'm probably overlooking it.
Russell makes a fitting for this, to go from 3/8" quick-disconnect to -6 AN (Russell 640940), but I'm not sure how I'd reasonably connect that to 3/8" nylon tubing. I've seen -6 AN to 3/8" hose barb so I suppose that would work (assuming I can get the nylon tubing over that particular hose barb, given it was designed for rubber hose not nylon tubing).
I've also seen this fitting that goes to 3/8" NPT (Russell 640690 3/8" NPT Male to 3/8" SAE Quick-Disconnect Male Push-On EFI Fitting), so I would then need an adapter to go from that to hose barb for the nylon tubing.
Thoughts?

Maybe this will help: http://www.racingtheexocet.com/?page_id=384
I used that piece pictured above by MuhThugga to connect the line to the filter outlet. I found it in the HELP section at Autozone.

Does anyone happen to know the simplest way to plug into a fuel pressure fitting? I've been looking around it seems like everything requires multiple fittings to make it from a quick-connect end to a block with a sensor opening. All I can find so far is this, but details about the port sizes and threaded area are scarce. http://toolaid.com/product/37670
There is also this to put on the rails, but it's pretty pricey (I need two places to put sensors). https://www.aeromotiveinc.com/produc...8-access-port/
