Stock fuel system be okay?
so I have a 1999 Trans Am A4 currently has long tubes, mild cam, slp lid. The car dyno'ed around 376. When spring comes I'll be installing a LS6 intake and PRC stage 2.5 862 heads. Hopefully gonna push the hp numbers around 420-430 not sure what to expect honestly. But my question is will the stock fuel system be okay for a little bit? The car doesn't go to the track at all just a street queen but I'll get on it if someone gets next to me wanting to race other then that it'll be driven like a normal car. Please let me know what I should do!

thanks for the feedback. Pretty awesome that you're always the first to give me info on all my post in here. At this time at night I just sit on my phone and imagine my car afternits done being built and the fuel system thing crossed my mind and kinda threw up a red flag to me. So I'm kinda iffy about it all now. If worst comes to worst I'll pass on the LS6 intake and buy some 36lb injectors then do a fuel pump down the road

Yeah this is one of those grey areas where every car is a little different, so some do ok and others not. Honestly if it were me I'd upgrade first. You really don't want your fuel system to be taxed this hard like that. It offers no room for error and whatnot. Really a small price to pay if it saves your motor lol

The stock fuel pump seems to handle a tad more than the stock injectors, but again no guarantee since you'll be pushing it. A decent 255 pump isn't much money, so its very cheap insurance IMO

where at? I found these at my work from a GTP just not sure if they're 36lb it'd be 217 total for all 8 brand new from BWD but if I can get a set for 100 I'll be buying them today please give me a link

I was gonna do the fuel pump to but I was gonna do the injectors when I got the heads on and everything so they can just tune it all at once then do the pump after
