Fuel pressure drops at WOT
Fuel pressure drops at WOT This is in my 01 Silverado. 4.8 / 4L60e. All stock. 170k on it.
This all started when I notice leaky fuel lines. The truck would start and run fine (other than not down shifting when WOT)...except when I would get down to a 1/4 tank, the truck would loose power and surge while giving it gas.
I did a quick bandaid fix by replacing the leaky sections with rubber fuel line.
Yesterday the truck did this with a full tank of gas. It would barely make it up the hill.
Starts up every time though.
Fuel pressure goes from about 50psi down to 25psi when I go wot.
It's throwing lean bank 1 and 2 codes and a stuck shift solenoid code.
Anyone have any experience with this?

If it has the regulator on the rail (which it should) , fuel pressure will vary on the rail as you go WOT. The IFR constant in the PCM will have all the same values...
