Default Walbro install questions.

i 5.3 swapped my 98 firebird a while ago and have been running the corvette fuel filter combo with the v6 pump with no issues. But now the pump is starting to go out and I’m wanting to ditch the v6 lines and install v8 lines as well as installing the Walbro 255 since it’s a fraction of the price of a new one. So my questions are.
* can I use my v6 bucket for the Walbro 255?
* will I still need to use the corvette fuel filter?
Thanks in advance.

Are you sure The V8 fuel lines are any bigger than the V6 lines? They might be the same piece! Have you checked on this?

they are the same diameter, but the v8 lines have only 2 lines with a t block (return less) and the v6 have 3. You can convert them buy flaring and installing a t but I would rather just swap them then deal with the hassle of that.
