Default Fueling my 5.3

Got a 5.3 I built for my new offroad racer, My fuel cell includes an aeromotive 340 Pump so i should have plenty of volume for a good amount of HP, Will be running -8 supply and return lines to the engine. My questions are, What upgraded injectors will fit truck intake/Rails? Do i need to upgrade rails?

Motor is as follows:

Comp XR275HR cam ( & supporting Valve train parts)
4.8 Flat tops
Stock Heads, with .015 shaved
Headers straight into flowmaster 10's
Intake Will be a large cone filter mounted under the dash.
Will be doing ported heads next season also.

Im thinking i will be over what the stock 5.3 injectors can handle?

Thank you in advance, This will be our first injected racer motor, Looking forward to it

Depending on what you are doing then you could jump up to some 33 lb/hr flexfuel injectors out of a 2002-2006 flexfuel Z71 Tahoe or some Silverados because they will fit in there and will allow you a decent amount of power. That is probably the cheapest/easiest option, keep in mind you’ll need a tune change. As far as the stock return rails, I have made almost 700rwhp on them personally and read cases of more so you should be fine. My setup had stock 3/8 (~6an) feed and 5/16 return.

You could save some money by just running -6 and lines, -8 is way over kill for that pump.

I'd have to check, but I'm pretty sure I have a bunch of new stock L92 injectors I could hook you up with. I think they are like 31lb/hr. I'll try and remember to look when I'm out there again.

Default TT 5.3 = 45 .lbs

Hi Nathan, my customer, off road truck, ALSO is using a 5.3 engine for his base test.
This engine features a Reground Crower Camshaft, my spec@ $200.00, my Valve Spring Kit, his hand porting.
My timing billet set (AVON) and a 2010 Camaro Oil Pump @ $90.00.

I supplied him with the Denso 45.lbs fuel injector, enough fuel for "future" 550HP WISHES !
This injector WILL IDLE better than OEM 5.3 injectors.

I ran the Baja 2000/Navada2000 Mc-Millen, Corkey called me his "secret weapon".

My off road truck customer has another 5.3 GEN-IV (spare engine) that will use my 4.1" crankshaft, 98mm pistons, ALL Forged kit,

He fit my cast AL Oil Pan..
He runs my ECU-882C TTL-LS engine controller
I offer my help/tech support/good prices.

Lance
