fuel pump suggestions.
Do you have to modify it to keep fuel in the bucket?
The racetronix kit keeps fuel in the bucket with the way it’s made.
im just wondering when I go turbo if the 340 in the stock bucket will run Dry?
What hp level is the 340 good up to with e85 in a boosted setup?
The 340 kit will handle more power on E85 than the stock lines can flow with proper operating voltage. We say roughly 750 though on stock lines as that is pretty much where they max out.
Above that we recommend the line kit from racetronix. Then youre looking at roughly 800 for a single 340 depending on fuel demand, inj size, and target afr.
i thought the stock bucket has a few small check valves to let fuel in but not out.
Do you have to modify the bucket for the 340?
I thought I read the bucket may run dry or not fill up initially to actually return fuel into the bucket.
Or will the bucket fill like stock pump does?
On a hard run, with a 340 pump, do we need to have the tank a certain amount with fuel so there’s no starvation?
Hopefully I am making sense here

No other aftermarket pump has that. it also relies a little on the drainback from the fuel pressure regulator.
Since we still want to offer filling the module up and keeping the pump supplied with fuel, we ditch the factory regulator and housing and use another nylon fuel tube to direct fuel back to the pump directly.
So far i have seen no issue with running the setup like this on a few builds and no issue with keeping it above a certain level. it is a very good idea to keep it above 1/4 tank to keep the pump cool and supplied anyway but not a mortal sin not to.
The other guys will sell you a 450, pat on the back another satisfied customer and not give any provisions for return fuel or the fact that they are overpowering the factory regulator and flimsy housing
