Default Is it worth swapping tanks?

I have a 98 TA with the metal tank and I am needing to swap the fuel pump and add a new feed line. I am gonna do it the right way and drop the tank.

So my question is it worth it to swap in the fuel tank and sending unit while it is out
option 1) install the tank from a 2000 v6 car that is plastic. I got the entire fuel system from that car for free, and can just put the walbro 450 in that.
option 2) install the tank from a 2002 ss. Would cost me 150 for the tank, sending unit, with a 450 already installed with a hot wire kit.
option 3) keep what i got and just do the pump

just wanted to get the opinion of people that know more than me, so i don't have to do this twice.
