Switching from pump to E85
I am thinking of switching to E85.
I have a few questions.
First is there a good kit to get to switch to E85? If there is not a complete kit what would be the closest I could get?
Also I was thinking about doing a Walbro 450 pump. Has anyone had problems with that pump on e85?
Last. My car made 390/385 WHP/Torque on motor and 504/502 WHP/Torque on spray. Any thoughts on how much power the car would pick up?

i am thinking the same, im debating what fuel pump will work good. of course i know that double walbros 450s will do the job easssy! and i know people say the 525 can do it. but i was reading online yesterday that the 525 only flows 8% more than the 450 and it takes more ( power or current which is the same ) due to a bigger pump.
again im talking in tank pumps. i am shooting for 600-650 rwhp 5.3 with a turbo.
price wise, two 450s cost the same as 1 525 only that 1 525 is easier to install lol. my other question would be what fuel line size is needed? dont mean to hijack your thread, but you would need to switch lines i believe.

I want to swap an LS into a 1979 Camaro . I found a brand new Crate Motor .. That has Flex Fuel Injectors in it .. I am also looking at A GM Connect and Cruise engine T-57 Magnum 6 speed trans which comes with computer and wiring harness.. Also of course Clutch and bell housing kit .. If I bought the L-94 I would just have to find the right computer and harness..
If I buy the LS-3 I have no idea what parts I need to convert to E-85 There are places that sell a gas tank just like my OEM but ready to bolt a Submersible pump into..
You guys use a lot of abv for pumps and stuff which I have no clue they are .. I was simply going 13.56 @ 107 with a low compression Carbed 350 1979 pickup motor and that was before I put a 5 speed in it with a 3.23:1 first gear .. and with street tires that I have to ease off the line with .. I could always beat mid 12 second cars on the street ..

Here is how it works with Haltech Controller .. does not help with GM The sensor is simple enough .. I have read that #-85 can be from about 20% to 85% alcohol most likely 55% Ethanol they may use more gasoline in the Winter .. May not be driving a nice car in the Winter .. I am here in MI with all the salt snow and chloride .. E-85 was $1.80 per gallon last time I checked .
