Default removing the fuel rail...

Why isn't this sucker coming off?

Any little tricks to get it off the fuel line?

You need a 3/8" fuel line disconnect tool to remove the lines from the rails.

Ugh...seriously?

I thought there was a way to get the line off of the rail without some special tool?

The tool is inexpensive..... I got mine a few years back from AutoZone for like $8. You have to have one to disconnect the fitting that is inside the fuel line.

Ok, so I got the tool. No idea how to make it work though?

Something so simple, yet so complicated.

slip the tool over the fuel line, then slide it "into" the connector..its hard to explain, the the tool will slide into the fitting almost a 1/4 inch and this will relaese the clips that are holdiing the line on. just make sure you push the tool all the way in or it wont release. on mine the "lip" is almost completely inside the fitting therefore the handle of the tool is agains the fitting, give it a tug and it will come off.
