Fuel sending unit

Fuel sending unit My fuel gauge is reading empty half the time and I believe it’s the fuel sending unit. I have been looking around and most websites only sell the fuel pump assembly as a whole. Any ideas where I can just get the sending unit?

Please note, this is a known issue on our cars. Most of us have had fuel level issues, and though not all cases are the same, you may be experiencing a defective fuel level sensor.
I recently replaced mine for $14. I purchased a Herko Fuel Level Sensor GFC13 For Fuel Pump Module E3369M.

And if it's not the sensor it may be the wiring. I'm about to replace the factory fuel pump wiring harness and my racetronix hot wire kit because it's not the sensor. If all that is replaced and the stock fuel level gauge is still showing zero, could it be something else?
