Injector Back Flush Issue?

Injector Back Flush Issue?

I was cleaning my injectors last night with a homebrew 9V battery + carb cleaner setup, and found that one of the injectors won't hold pressure when back flushing. I can spray the carb cleaner right through the injector without applying any voltage. It holds the pressure fine going the other way. None of the other injectors do this, does this indicate a potential issue with that injector?

Yes. Compression will blow back thru it and mess up the whole system.

Thank you for the quick reply! Not what I wanted to hear... but needed to hear. Can you elaborate on the system being messed up... would this just be drivability issues or am I risking further damage to other components

More I think of it, manifold pressure should never overcome fuel pressure, so I'm kind of confused about compression blowing back through?

Yeah my mistake on that. I was thinking direst injection for some dumb reason. Having said that, that one injector still isn't right. I would replace it.
