oh I did, they still were difficult to put in. I'm assuming the cheesiness fitech sheetmetal intake (just like the holleys) must be a bit loosey loose on their tolerances for injector bungs...mine must be on the tight side lol

Had the chance to fire it up yesterday evening and it's hitting on all 8.... I'm not screaming victory just yet but it had a noticeably smoother idle than any of the SEC sets and equivalent to what I was used too with my original 55lb injectors... won't be until this week end that I can really mess with it and see where we are at tune wise/drive-ability.

That's awesome. I had the same results with 1st fire up with my Bosch 210's. Noticed immediately that is was smoother running & sounding. Hopefully, aside from some tune tweaking, you can enjoy the car, finally.

Maybe it's just the internet. But I'm hearing more and more about people having problems with the SE injectors out of the box.

Took the car out to go “beat” on it a little. All i did is select the fic850 in the drop down menu and sent it. Car ran fantastic.
i no longer have the popping on decel that the SEC gave me, car’s back to running great on all 8 at all time. 16psi on meth, did a few 2nd gear pulls (about 6) and each time the car picked up power (termx with learn on).
I’ll be sending back the SEC, looking for a refund. Bummer that they didnt work out, hope they get there quality back in track!

Also happy to report i got a refund for this last set (minus a restocking fee). At least i’m not out full price… hope they figure out whats going on…we tried to get them to work and they stand by their warranty so can’t ask too much more… just hope they figure out what’s happening with their supplier.

Can't say too much bad about that.
Sucks you had issues, but they handled it better than most much bigger named companies.
My first set worked great for a whole season...actually ran my best ever ET & MPH with them. Like you, I hope they get their issues straightened out.

Car still running good, I assume?

I don't get to drive it much but so far so good. They never said what was wrong with that one injector, just that they noticed some "debris" in the injectors and advised to flush my system again...which makes no sense since all I did was remove prior set, pack it, send it, received new set, and it went directly from the box to the rail (and I blow the rails for good measure).....yet the previous set had none...anyway, water under the bridge for me!
