Weird Fuel issue

Weird Fuel issue Hope everyone is good..
I recently installed a fuel pump on a T.A and unfortunately looks like a pin was having a ad connection and caused wires to melt along with the sensor. good thing we caught it soon enough before there was a fire. I have now replaced the sensor and wire from pump to sensor. NOW TO THE BIGGER ISSUE.
ive confirmed all wires are nice tight and getting proper connection. I also replaced the fuel pump in the case that it was "Burnt". The car starts but will not stay on anymore. if you give it gas it wil choke/starve , i played with the tune a bit but its still not working.
anything you can think of that may have cause this issue?
