Default Which injectors

Hello all, finally doing H/C/I on my 99 ls1. Tick sns 3. Prc 220 and fast 92 . I need help with chosing injectors. I was going with fast 36lbs but all recent reviews say they leak. I don't mind spending a little more not to hydrolock my engine, thanks.

You can find factory 36 lb/hr from the hybrid 5.3's.. I just put a set into my 6.2L.. the entire set was $200. You can also easily get injector data for them as well.

I *think* there may be a height difference, as well as potentially a connector difference. The connector issue is no problem as the adapter harnesses can be bought on Amazon for dirt cheap.. But the height difference may require that you build spacers for the fuel rails. With a little fab work, and some determination I'm fairly certain it's doable. Look up 12613411. That is the part # for the 36 lb./hr. GM injectors. You can find the injectors on Ebay or Amazon by searching with that part #.

This thread talks a little bit about using those injectors with the LS1 intake; https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...jectors-2.html

Looks like other people have done it. I have never personally done it myself, but I would have no hesitation making that upgrade IF my motor needed injectors that large. Remember there is no benefit to going to larger injectors if your motor cannot utilize the larger flow rate. Bigger injectors won't make more horsepower if your engine does not need the additional fueling that is possible with the larger injectors.

Where are the reviews stating that they leak? Post a link?
