No Fuel - Diagnostic Checklist My 2002 has been sitting in the garage for 15yrs and I usually start it 2 -3 times a year and take it for a ride.
The engine won't run. I was low on fuel (about 1/8 tank) so put in 9 gallons. The fuel in the tank had stabilizer but probably 2 years old (maybe 3).
Key on - I can hear the fuel pump turn on.
At the rail - 0 pressure.
Manually pressing the schrader valve I got about a drop of fuel.
Anything else I can be missing before I consider replacing my fuel pump?
I'll replace the fuel filter this week just to be sure.
Could the fuel pressure regulator be fully open not building any pressure?
Not looking forward to dropping the tank so want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
