Default LS6 on Stock LS1???

I have a couple of 4th Gen F-body cars
My 99 T/A convertible is bone stock, which the exception of a skip shift eliminator
My 97 Z is blown completely a part, with a 6.0 that's been bored and stroked, ect...
I was thinking about doing a few bolt-ons to my T/A

My question is will a LS6 intake and a 92mm throttle body do me any good with everything else being stock

Thanks,
Rob

The LS6 will be an improvement, but the larger throttle body will not.
The 87mm TB is actually plenty for a stock LS1, even an LS6. Save your green....

I say everything else stock
But I'll probably do a 160* thermostat, cold air intake and exhaust too
Not gonna do anything that can't be easily put back to stock

The 160 thermostat won't really help. That's old school small block thinking. Stay with the 187 thermostat. The engine is more efficient with it.
The cold air intake, if a good one, will help, along with a good cat-back exhaust.
