CNG to gas conversion
My question is can I switch to gasoline? I have found a donor truck that I can get the tank, pump, all the fuel lines and electrical from. I have another intake from an 04 LQ4 that I has the fuel rail and injectors that I can use.
My truck does have the fuel pump relay installed. I am hoping that if I install all the gasoline components and remove the CNG stuff that it will work.
Is this a bad idea? Any thoughts, criticism, advice would be appreciate.
Thanks Gerald
If it is a 6.0 you already have the injection manifold since GM never used anything else on the LS engines.
In fact it might just be the whole gasoline injection system with a CNG nozzle near the throttle body.
If you have a complete LQ4 intake setup, I would just switch the complete setup over.
The donor truck should have all you need. Just transfer over the whole manifold, etc as it would be easier moving complete assemblies than all the separate parts.
