Terminator X harness question

can the crank sensor on a 58X harness be swapped to a 24x and only reprogram the ECU?
Everything else between the engines will stay the same.
I have the 58X setup in a Gen 3 block and will stay with a Gen 3 block and front crank sensor.but it will be a 24X and a slightly smaller engine.

I'm not perfectly clear on your combo from your post. Are you saying you have a Gen 3 block with a 58X crank installed, and you're switching engines to a Gen 3 block with a 24X crank sensor? If that's the case, then yes, you can simply change the settings in the Terminator X to run the 24X. Even if you have a 4X cam sensor. Depending on your combo, you *might* need to repin the harness, but a lot of people seem to have no issues simply plugging the 58X harness into the 24X crank sensor just by removing the tab in it.
