Default 99-04 Corvette Regulator, max flow rate till fail?

Just realized this whole time I've been running around 80PSI in my 5.3s fuel rail, even after replacing it.
I know these regulators are supposed to regulate to 58PSI.
Is this happening because the vette regulators can't keep up with my 440LPH pump or is it because I run cheap amazon knockoff regulators?
Just asking before I go and spend money on an ACDelco regulator just to find out my fuel pump is too strong for this style regulator no matter the brand or quality.

A 440lph pump will blow through an ACDelco just like it is doing to the cheap unit. In most cases a 340lph pump is too much for them. The only way to deal with a single pump that size is with a separate regulator.

The 99-04 FPR/Filter Combos straight from GM Dealers, Summit, or anywhere are ALL failing.

Wix and AC Delco are both now made in Taiwan with different branding and stamping done.

They all seem to be having the same issue.

I've heard some people have success with a NAPA 3737 Gold FPR+Filter but haven't tried it myself.

Currently running a 440 with my AC Delco Vette Regulator from 2010 fixed at 4Bar (58psi) but even with a 255 now all the junk Vette style regulators fail out the box.
