AN fuel line job What's a reasonable number of hours to completely replace OEM fuel lines with PTFE AN hoses, feed & return, and setup regulator/damper/etc in engine bay?

It would depend on whether you're cutting a trap door or completely dropping the gas tank out of the car. The latter would probably add about 5 hours labor. I chose to do a trap door on mine, and while I don't work fast, I'd say it took me about 5-6 hours total to remove the old lines, add adapter fittings to the sending unit, cut new PTFE lines and mount the filter, drill and tap for rivnuts to hold the lines in place, and route everything to the engine bay and mount the regulator and attach the lines to the fuel rails. I also added a flex fuel sensor and Motion Raceworks holder at the same time. Not really difficult, just tedious.

It already has the "98" trap door, but I later swapped to the plastic tank which left the trap door opening offset. The car has been sitting for months. I should drain it.

I live in an apartment and I located two garages to rent within a mile of my place. Might be a good idea to look around and see if there's something available. A couple of DIY jobs on your car could pay for rent.
