Default Question for those with stand alone fuel systems.

Ok I got a stand alone fuel system so I can spray a 200 shot into my 408 Stroker. It consists of a 1 gallon cell, Holley blue pump and fuel pressure regulator. Now I have never messed with anything like this and am not really sire about how to hook it up. Do I run the power for it through my WOT switch so the pump only gets power when I go WOT?? Does it have power all the time?? It makes sense to wire it through my WOT switch so its only on while spraying but I am not sure and want ot be sure before I do it.

I'm thinking you'd want the pump on when the system is armed.. Rather just when the WOT Switch open's the noid. This way the pump and all is primed and ready to move fuel..

That is the correct way. Be sure you are familiar with wiring in your relays and safety switches, window switches, etc.

Ok thanks thats the info I was looking for!! Is it going to be ok with the pump on and pushing fiel into the back of my solenoid?? Or will it not be an issue because it is a low psi pump??

It's not an issue at all. That's what they're designed for.
