Default Anyone use/using the Speed Inc fuel system kit?

seen here: http://www.ls1speed.com/catagory.cfm?catagory=fuel

Speed Inc Race Fuel System Kit - 2
900HP Race Fuel System includes:

-Aluminum Sumped Race tank
-Bosch 420L 900+HP pump
-Billet Filter w/stainless element
-Billet Fuel Pressure regulator (boost ready)
-Billet LS1 or LT1 rails
-Autometer 0-100 Fuel pressure gauge
-All necessary braided lines and fittings

Includes everything needed from start-to-finish

I am assuming that "900 hp" is valid even for FI since the regulator is boost sense.... right?
I don't need the fp gauge but everything else looks good..... I wonder if it really as complete as advertised? Any problems with the tank on a street car? Can I use my factory sender and stuff?

Thanks for any input.

Personally, you are better off just sitting down and planning out your fuel system how you want it (exact routing of the lines, etc.) and then just order stuff from the particular vendor. I did the "kit" from Speed Inc. and basically it would have been impossible to get the fuel system set up in any reasonable way. Not enough fittings, hose to short, etc. And when they say "kit" -- you are just getting a couple 20' setion of lines, a few fittings, the pump, filter, and rails -- it isn't pre-assembled or anything ready to go on --- just FYI.

good to know...I am in the market to get a system soon and have looked at that one and some racetronix stuff. I would have ordered the racetronix one but they didn't respond to my post or to my e-mail. How hard was it to get the speed inc kit working?

Like I said, if I had to do it over again, I would just buy all the parts from another source -- it isn't hard, you are more than welcome to PM me if you want some help with how you are going to route it and what connectors you will likely need etc.

You can get pumps, AN fittings, lines, from almost anywhere -- they aren't LS1 specific. You just need to get a set of rails from a sponsor and you are all set.
