What is the difference between the GSS and the GSL models of the Walbro 255 lph fuel pumps?

Not even sure about those two models, but the LS1s use the Walbro GSS 340M. For the type of fuel system we have.

Both of these are external inline pumps. Both are 255 lph high pressure models, but I'd like to know which one is better if either?

I've sent emails to some of the vendors that carry Walbro and haven't heard anything back. No body knows the difference between the gss and gsl pumps?

sorry, i dont like inline smaller pumps, rather the intank. Unless your getting something liek the A1000.

I thought the GSS was the in-tank. Sometimes other sites mix GSL and GSS incorrectly (I think).
