Camaro not running correctly Okay, I guess this is a long shot but here goes. I have a 2000 Camaro . It has 44000 miles on it. THe check egine light came on about a month ago, took it to auto zone and had the diagnostic check done and it said it was running lean. So filled it with Premium V-Power and a cleaner and ran it on the highway, the light still owuldnt go off. Well went to Cincinnati about hour away and it was just getting worse, when i finally ended my trip the car wouldnt even start back up, went back out there later and it started but when i would get going it seemed like it would take forever to get going. Well got back home and replaced the fuel filter, still no change. Well two days ago i was driving on the highway and it wouoldnt go past 50, i could hold the accelerator and the engine was making noise like it wanted to go, but the poor car just wouldnt, it almost sounded as if i had a really lopud muffler but that it was struggling to go. So i stopped at a light and started going and it wouldnt go more than 30. I dont get it? I dont no much about cars but I mean it only has 44000 miles on it and it runs and sounds perfect accept these past few days, it makes a squeeling noise and wont get up and go like it should? Any suggestions?

OK, I took it to Pep Boys last night, and they did a flow chart, and tested all the sensors and stuff and said it was the o2 sensors. So $230 LATER i BOUGHT THEM AND ARE HOPING THAT THAT Is what the problem is.
Have you fixed it yet? Cats are what filter out the "harmfull emissions" and can get clogged, a general description would be the rectangular muffler looking thing thats inline with the exhaust before the muffler. I kinda doubt thats the problem. I'd say its fueling, bad fuel pump possibly.
