I, too, am going to buy a set of Delphi 37s from Racetronix, however I happen to have my car apart and the fuel rail in the garage and both the stock and SVO 30s laying around. So I went out and test fit them. I don't see a problem. There is a bit of a lip (say 1 mm) on the stock injector tops that isn't on the SVOs but the part of the fuel rail that comes close to the injector is quite angled and would easily feed the SVOs as well as the Delphis.

I read in another thread that we tend to use the old school philophocey in selecting injectors, that closer to what power we have is better. When we should be leaving a bigger margin. You would be better off using Delphi 42#.

RC Engineering has a good calculator on their web page:
http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm
Factor in 58PSI and a DC of 0.8
450RWHP is apx. 500-525FWHP

Contact the dealer from whom you purchased your harness and they should be able to help you with the pump assembly. Under normal circumstances the pump assembly is not sold separately.

Consideration should be made based on retaining the bucket function more than anything else.

You will need 42's to provide a safety margin.

It may run lean & inconsistent.

i emailed you all about how to get the right tune for the 42# injectors. maybe i should post this in the tuning section, but how hard is it to compensate for the injectors in tuning? os there any standard scaling for certain tables when tuning or no?

Bud you dont need 42 lb injectors for a 450 rwhp car. I would on a forced induction car, but your sig just has NA stuff listed. Ive run stock injectors up to 450-460 rwhp, but Id throw a set of 30s or 32 in it

What was your BSFC, max RPM, injector DC etc.
Do you have room to grow?

No room to grow, thats why I said Id go to 30s or 32s just wouldnt put a large 42 n there unless he was planning boost, and that wouldnt support any kind of blower if he put 7 psi on top of what he has now.

At 100% duty cycle indicated air/fuel was still constant and controllable done that on a few cars and worked "ok" Depends on the application but FI motors seem much more particcular to duty cycle limits, although I still wouldnt recommend going way over DC (roughly 16 ms pulsewidth at 6000 rpm is 80% DC right? 100% is 20)

No data? 100% DC? What about TTI? What about AE / asynchronous fueling?

We would disagree with your recommendations as would most tuners.
There is nothing to be lost by going to a 37 or 42 other than room to grow. The price difference is marginal.
Going too small on the other hand has many negative aspects.
