I got my pump from him actually. Email him and tell him you want the lt1 kit with the new pump. I think mine came in at like 115$ shipped with high pressure hose (that split) and the filter/harness.

A little off topic...I talked with Speed Inc, and they said they sump the plastic tank in 99+ cars, get rid of the intank fuel pump, and use a big single Bosch 420 pump for high hp applications. They can also use dual external pumps wired in parallel for silly-high HP cars. I have an intank Walboro, Hotwire, and Kene Bell Boost-a-pump, which works fine for me. However, I would rather go with a sumped stock tank and a $349 single Bosh 420 gph pump. They said it was about two hours abor to sump a plastic tank ($75/hr) plus what ever miscellaneous fittings and stuff. I think I just may take my tank out and send it in there. I figure about $175-200 for the tank, and $350 for the pump would do fine for most cars up to 700-800 rwhp.

i would prefer not to run external pumps because of the noise. and the walbros are only what 220 for the pair and that will get you an easy 1200hp worth of fuel

would the twin walboro's intank be too much pressure for the FP regulator? I know Racetronix is working on a front mount FP regulator, which would be great because it is adjustable too. I noticed with my KB Boost-a-pump that I can raise the rail FP pressure 5-7 psi at idle with turning the **** on the boost-a-pump from 0 to 100%. Does this mean it is "blowing" past the FP regulator in back?

maybe your stock return line or regulator is not large enough to flow that much fuel back at idle?

i dont have a problem getting my idle pressure wherever i want it. and i run both pumps all the time i run the stock pressure line for my return line and a CAS regulator

We have a few customers that purchased 2 GSS340 pumps (255 lph high pressure) , mounted them in the sending unit and ran them to a "Y" fitting (which can be purchased at your local hardware store) at the top of the unit , and the "Y" fitting would run to the top of the unit , they also purchased #60lb. Mototron high impedence injectors from us and are all pushing between 700-800 Boosted horsepower at the wheels efficiently . I actually know one guy that wired the 2nd pump separately with a relay to kick in when the intake measured a certain amount of boost . We have the pumps and injectors in stock in case you would like to order them , the pumps are $105.95 a piece and the injectors are on sale right now for $439.95 .

mike, your fuel set up sounds strangely familiar.

you still have the gss340's in stock even though they were discontinued allmost a year ago or you have the new F20000169?

The gss340's were never discontinued , the gss340m was , the "m" stands for modified , it is a gss340 with the end turned down to utilize a filter sock for the F-body , we use the gss340 with a universal filter sock to fit it which fits perfectly on the pump . The F20000169 is more so an LT1 specific pump with the inlet offset to fit the sending unit a bit better , but still requires a bit of modification . I think the dual gss340's will work for you . Let me know if you are interested .

Actually the 'M' stands for machined. We still machine 340's here to keep the cost of the pumps down for our customers since Walbro charges a premium for the F20000169 as well as its 400-1069 installation kit. Racetronix manufactures its own 400-835 installation kit for the GSS340M with some upgraded parts over what Walbro supplied before they discontinued the item. You would figure reducing the continued manual labor to do this would be more than offset for the cost of a new molded plastic part but go figure large corporate logic. Stick it to the customer! Ever wonder why a GSS341 which has the same flow spec as a GSS340 and F20000169 is much cheaper but meant for imports. The only difference is the plastic inlet which costs pennies to make. The 'M' version of the GSS340 was/is not specific to the F-Body cars but rather is/was a universal replacement for most 80's and early 90's GM platforms such as Buicks, Corvettes, Camaros, trucks etc.
