Cutting for fuel pump

What are the measurements of EXACTLY where to cut the sheetmetal to install a new fuel pump? I plan on doing it tom and don't what to cut up everything.

ON my 2002 T/A when you pull back the carpeting you will find 3 lines in the metal. I cut from line to line from the bottom to top about 8inchesl. Worked like a charm

from which line to which line? Is the pump kind of in the middle?

Dropping the tank really is not that hard. There are just 2 bolts holding it in place.

I almost decided to cut the hole myself, but changed my mind at the last minute.

Just be careful that you don't cut through any fuel lines

I used an angle grinder for ine with a cut off wheel, If you use something like that or a rotozip or dremel, I had started out with putting electrical tape down so I had the edge of the tape to guide myself so the cut would be straight, then went all the way around with just a small cut into the metal then I cut all the way through, sections at a time.
