Default Walbro 255 Fuel Pump Install Tips and Tricks?

Tomorrow I am going to attempt to install a Walbro 255 in tank replacement pump. I have never done a fuel pump install before and was wondering if you guys had any tips or tricks about the install. I am going to pull the tank out so I can clean it, instead of the trap door. I know that I will need to drain the take to make it easier, but is there anything else that I will need to watch out for.

Thanx in advance.

No need to remove the rear-end as some seem to think you do. Get the car up high enough so that the rear can hang down by the shocks, and remove the cat back. Bob

yea, no need to take the rear out, undo both panhard bars, take the hangers of the exhaust, move the heat shields, and thats pretty much it, slid mine towards the drivers side a bit and out the back
