Default fuel pump? or what?

lately driving ive noticed that at low rpms levels my car seems like its not accelerating properly. i step on the gas to accelerate but the car would hesitate *** if its not getting enough gas or somthing. it doesnt do it all the time but it was so bad one time i had to pull over and restart the car. ive noticed that it also does it more often when the a/c is running. Does anyone what could b causing this problem?? input appreciated

Is the SES light on? Have the car scanned for codes (even if the light is off) and let us know what comes up. There are a lot of things that could cause hesitation that may not be fuel related. Check some of the easier to fix things first: airleaks, bad plugs, plugwires, O2 sensors, etc.
If it were solely a fuel problem, it shouldn't make a difference if the AC is on or off.
