Only place to get a fitting for the LS1 fuel rail is from Nitro Dave at NitrousOutlet.com

But his fitting is a -6an. He tried to get an 8an to fit on there, but no go, only -6an.

will a 6AN from a fuel rail to line be adequate? It'll be a good 2' span. The line is only 3/8" anyway

This is the female side of the quick disconnect. I assume he wants the male side. That fitting only Nitro Dave sells.

Slowly but surely. lol Hope to have it all running sometime in late january. That gives me a few months to work out any bugs before Spring. Couldnt be happier with the engine, it was extremely clean inside and out. Ended up putting a TR224 cam in it while it was out of the car......jt

the only thing i dont like is they are the exact same design as speed incs but more expensive and the rail size is only 3/8" whereas some are larger.

Do you need larger than 3/8" NPT? That supports well over 1000whp. I like Nastys because the bracket stuff is connected and welded to the rail where the others you have to put them together and I dont like the way they look at it.

my only concern is that if the rail is only 3/8" (6AN) why bother w/ any feed larger then 6AN?

Maybe im confused are you mis understood me. The fitting is is 3/8NPT. But the opening is almost 5/8" or so to hold the fuel. You can definetely get a 3/8NPT to -8an fitting.

i know you can, get adapters. Im wondering if the fact the fitting is 3/8" NPT yet 5/8" ID in the rail restricts fuel flow. After all, you are only going to flow as much fuel as the smallest orfice will support. If i have -8 lines and a 3/8 to 8AN adapter, my bottleneck is the 3/8 (approx 6AN).
