Tuning Before / After a Racetronix
Is is a waste of time to tune before the pump? I tried to search to see what tuning was necessary after a pump and didn't find anything.
Is there something you should tune after the pump? Will it alter your LTRMS?
Is it putting out more pressure or the ability to handle that pressure contantly?
Either way, the fuel pump should help, but I think you'll ultimately need larger injectors for your setup. I'm not sure tuning after the pump would help your problem (depending, of course, on what that problem is).
working pressure. So your regulator is going to have to blow
off more gasoline back to the tank, and since it takes some
more pressure rise to open the regulator more, your head
pressure should rise some. The PCM doesn't know about it
unless you tell it. Ideally you would take some "before"
idle & WOT fuel pressure readings, and some "after", and
be able to tweak the IFR table with a sqrt(after/before)
multiple. But if you don't have that data then you'll have
to back into the fit.
