Default whats the difference between high and low impedence

ok i understand that one has higher impedence but what does that mean to me? is one or the other better? do you have to change anything if you go with a high or low impedence injector?!?! why do they tell me if the injectors are high or low impedence.. GARRRR

High imp is a high resistance injector where the resistance is matched to your computer. Our computers use high imp. If you buy new injectors, buy high imp. Think of it like 110V and 220v appliances....plug a 110v into a 220v outlet and it's toast.

do u mean high imp = the injectors are widely controlled by the PCM orders ?

i still have more questions ... they will depend on ur answers ..
thanks mark for opening this subject ,

Electricity.

High Imp checks out with an ohm meter around 10ish ohms (roughly).

Low Imp are around 2ohms.

More resistance means less current, which means more reliability, which is why the factory uses high impedence injectors.
